In its central section, the festive motifs of the Safavid period intertwine with Sassanian rams, creating a dialogue between two ages of Iranian beauty and symbolism. Along the upper rim, arabesque patterns emerge in delicate relief, while below, rhythmic and repeating sunbursts form a captivating visual harmony.
This exquisite piece is also adorned with a verse by Hafez — words that flow like a gentle spirit through the metal and form. The remarkable thickness of the brass sheet (3 to 3.5 millimeters) from which the vase is shaped gives it a sense of grandeur and enduring presence — a union of delicacy and strength within a single embodiment of art.
