When he stepped into engraving workshop to learn the basics of this art from his father, he was only 9 years old and now it is forty one years that this dexterous artist engraves and creates exquisite and eye-catching artworks.
Once the master learned all the basic secrets of the work from his father, he never benefited any other training courses in engraving from other masters.
However, the reason of his fame among those fond of engraving is, all the characteristics of masters such as Master Hossein Alaghemandan, Master Amir Saee and late Master Dehnavi, glamour in his work. Masters who Reza Ghaderan always respects and admires. This is the feature that characterizes his artwork and style from of other masters in this field. In 1998, in the World Handicrafts Day, one of the pieces created by this master was printed as a commemorative stamp which indicate high status of this distinguished master.
Master Reza Ghaderan is very meticulous and organized and his perseverance and commitments is exemplary. He is staid, calm and patient and regards the art of graving and the future of this occupation with profound caution and forethought. He who was severely injured in a car accident back in 2011 and was hospitalized for over eight months, now worries that what might be the future for the masters of this art when there are no facilities and welfare guarantees for their illness and disability? Will prevailing health insurance plans provide welfare which will live up to the dignity of a master of art?
