Holder of Equivalent Doctoral Degree in Art from Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance
Master Mansour Hafez Parast is an innovative and vanguard engraver, one of the few artists, who have invested years of their life researching the origins and capacities of this field of art. He has learned engraving from his late father, Master Rajabali Hafez Parast and in his workshop. He likes the styles of his veterans in Isfahan but is very much fond of the style and artworks of past masters and in order to feel the wonders of these pieces and do research, he has followed them to the houses of the private collection owners all over the country.
He, who ironically used to
worked in the bank and has served as the manager for a while; is famous for engraving incredible and precise Sols calligraphy and makes wonders with arabesque, angelica and lattice work. He recognizes late masters such as Ibrahim Dayi Zadeh, Seyyed Mohammad Orizi, and Abdollah Gohari
Mehr (known as Shah Mirza) as the centuries-old myths of this art and walks the path of these eminent people himself.
The master is cheerful with a compassionate heart and very candid. Owing to his intelligence and talent in mathematics, he is also keen in fabricating equipment and astronomical calculations. His realism and truthful love for the art of engraving and his sense of responsibility has made him to take measures and do research for the conservation and immortality of the art. He constantly strives to create new forms and designs.
