Master Majid Bahrami Pour, learned engraving when he was sixteen years old, and stepped in this profession when he was twenty. Late Khorvash, was his first master and after him, as he noted, Master Mehdi Alamdari, is the benefactor of teaching him the design and execution of engraving techniques. He is well skilled in various styles of engraving including metal stamping and especially in emboss-relief. He also, artfully executes emboss-relief on portraits and images and he is acquainted with scale modeling and goldsmith work. His power of imagination and strong visual perception, not only creates and embosses magnificent images of the myths of Ferdowsi's Shahnameh, but also gives him the advantage to emboss eye-catching images of various historical periods, especially from Achaemenid and Sassanian eras.

Integration of design is a significant feature of his work despite the fact that many dishes have legs and handles which are harmonically embossed with care and precision based on the intended design.

The creative and delicate master, believes that God has blessed every human being with a certain skill and each of us has to find that skill and bring it to perfection. He, who endeavors to create each piece more matured than the previous ones, says:

"masters of engraving are not rare, yet, only those who love the art, can create the masterpieces"
