This brilliant man was famous amongst his counterparts for his ingenuity and skill. He began learning the know-how of this art when he was nine; he developed very quickly in light of his unique talent and extraordinary creativity and achieved proficiency in his work in such a manner that at the age of sixteen he started engraving independently. He mentioned the late Ahmad Lahigi as his master and had special devotion to Master Hossein Alaghemandan.
Although the master's dominance in design and magnificent portrayal before malaise was unique and undeniable, what distinguished him from other artists was his remarkable pace in engraving very fine, precise, and detailed relics. Tens of skilled and professional engravers in Isfahan were the results of this honorable man's teachings and training; among them, his brother became a well-known master himself, and his four children grew into skilled contemporary engravers as well.
In 1989, a commemorative stamp was published featuring his artworks and portrait.
Master Amir Saee was a very solemn and introverted man. He was also open-hearted and hospitable. It is unfortunate that in his later years he suffered illness, which prevented him from creating exquisite and eye-catching pieces. His legacy, however, continues to amaze us with magnificent artworks that endure beyond his lifetime.
